十九世纪末，泰国为了出口更多的大米开始大面积开垦农田，牛成为了最重要的劳动力，因此一个新的职业悄然兴起——牛仔。这些牛仔靠买卖牛赚取差价，暴利极大。但最近经常有个被称作火云盗的蒙面人打劫牛仔，此人武艺极为高强，他将抢来的牛都分给了贫苦的农民，因此火云盗在老百姓中有口皆碑，而牛仔们则无不谈虎色变。 贵族后裔西里贡从英国进口了土地开垦机，昂贵的价格令农民们望尘莫及。为了将机器卖出去牟取暴利，西里贡雇了一批人专门劫杀牛仔，然后将牛卖给屠宰场，这样农民们没有牛自然就会出钱购买开垦机。一时间牛仔们不仅要小心抢牛的火云盗，更要留意随时都可能会让自己丧命的西里贡，真是苦不堪言。 火云盗在一次准备打劫牛仔的过程中发现，西里贡那战无不胜的手下被一个名叫狮子的牛仔头领打败，而狮子胸前的纹身吸引了火云盗的注意。多年前一个有着同样纹身的牛仔杀死了火云盗的父母并抢走了...
